INAUGURATION OF THE ALMADIES PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT IN DAKAR
Mercure International is teaming with GreenYellow to carry out an energy efficiency project in Senegal at the Almadies shopping mall. It is the first time that an Energy Performance Contract (EPC) is implemented in Dakar, including the construction of the largest photovoltaic roofing plant of the city. This project optimizes the electrical consumption of the mall, and implies an energy saving of nearly 40%, while giving access to the best active systems’ technologies of lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning and production of photovoltaic energy. Mercure International is actively supporting this type of project around the world with many actions to promote the development of sustainable energy.
